Summary
:
A Career Pathways Advisory Committee 2018-2019 is being proposed for the purpose of guiding and supporting the Career Pathways and Career Technical Education (CTE) programs and courses of study of Mt. Diablo USD. This advisory committee will help develop and engage business/industry sector and community partners to help guide and support the Career Pathways and Career Technical Education (CTE) district leadership staff and K-12 faculty of Mt. Diablo USD, ensuring the quality and integrity of these applied learning programs and courses of study offered students of MDUSD district-wide.
This advisory committee will also specifically provide support to the MDUSD Career Pathways CTE K-12 faculty district-wide for the implementation of the Carl Perkins Grant (K-12) and Career Technical Education Incentive Grant – CTEIG funded programs which supplement Mt. Diablo USD funding for these programs.
The term of service of this proposed first committee membership is for January 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.
