The AirWatch mobile device management (MDM) solution is currently being used to support Apple iPads in our schools. MDMs provide a variety of management and security tools that improve the workflow for the setup of these devices, as well as the ongoing support for pushing out applications and settings. The attached quote, from Carahsoft Technologies, includes a one-year subscription to the AirWatch MDM. This is a renewal based on a previous request for quotes (RFQ) from September 2015, which was board-approved on 11/16/15. Renewal pricing is based on a piggy-back contract with the California Multiple Award Schedules (CMAS) # CMAS # 3-12-70-2247E contract.
