Summary:
|
i-Ready has been implemented in the district for the last five years; first as a pilot with selected sites, then district-wide K-8 for the last four years and at the high school level the past two years. i-Ready consists of adaptive diagnostic assessments, online instruction, and formative/summative assessments. All components are used to monitor and support student progress towards grade level state standards mastery and college and career readiness. The data generated from this software allows teachers to provide differentiated instruction/support to all students and progress monitor our under-achieving/under-served students (English Learners, Foster Youth, Economically Disadvantaged, Special Education) with identified learning gaps. Validity studies have been conducted and have shown that students' performance on i-Ready is highly correlated to students' performance on state standards test.
