Summary:
|
On June 27, 2016, the District executed a 12-month lease addendum for three (3) standard DSA-approved classroom housing units (1-36x40, 2-24x40) at Northgate High School. A lease extension piggy backed via Franklin-McKinley School District further extended the contract to February, 7, 2018; after which a month-to-month payment schedule was applied.
At this time, Northgate High School desires to extend the lease agreement for all three (3) classroom buildings thru June 30, 2021 (additional 3.0 years total). Per current DSA guidelines, the District must request authorization for the buildings to remain on site additional years.
To accommodate site needs, Staff has negotiated a Three-Year Contract Addendum, dated November 5, 2018, to continue leasing the three units, Buildings ID # 31188, #40898, and # 76267 located at Northgate High School.
