Summary:
|
During assessments of our current elementary school hardscape needs, it was discovered that the running tracks at Ayers Elementary School, Strandwood Elementary School and Valhalla Elementary School are in need of new paving to avoid slip, trip and fall hazards during physical educational curriculum. Informal quotes were requested from our grading and paving vendors for these three separate projects. Upon receipt of all quotes, the recommended vendor was the low bid on all three separate projects. In order to facilitate these site safety projects in a timely manner, approval of award would allow for completion of these projects during the spring of 2019. Scope includes removing existing track surfaces and installing new asphalt.
