Summary:
|
Staff requests approval to enter into a renewal contract with Resource Development & Associates (RDA) to provide the data management software system (After School Web-ASW) to track program attendance and activities, and comprehensive program evaluation. RDA support staff in the continuous quality improvement (CQI) process to assess and monitor program impact of the CARES After School Program and the ASPIRE Supplemental Education Services Tutoring Program. Services include training for staff, site visits, mid-year report, student, staff and parent surveys as well as an end of year evaluation and executive summary on grant requirements. Mt. Diablo CARES receives the California Department of Education's After School Education and Safety (ASES) grant which requires comprehensive annual evaluation and quality program review to measure program implementation, effectiveness, and student growth. In addition, this evaluation is used as a tool to inform strengths and needs for the district's Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP). The Mt. Diablo CARES After School Programs included are; Bel Air, Cambridge, Delta View, El Monte, Fair Oaks, Holbrook, Meadow Homes, Rio Vista, Shore Acres, Sun Terrace, Wren Avenue and Ygnacio Valley Elementary Schools, and El Dorado, Oak Grove and Riverview Middle Schools.
