Summary: During assessment of our current Fire Alarm Control Panel at the Maintenance & Operations Facility, it was determined that it is necessary to replace the existing Fire Alarm Control Panel with an updated District Standard Edwards Fire Alarm Control Panel. Replacement of existing smoke and duct detectors will also be completed. Replacement of the existing system will not only bring us up to standard and allow for necessary repairs throughout our system, it will also allow for expansion for the New Food Service Warehouse as well as to support future Fire Alarm Systems at the existing Central Services Complex Bus Garage and Purchasing & Warehouse Building not currently on the system.
Funding: 3912 – Health & Safety
Fiscal Impact $55,750.00, Project is within budget and no additional funds needed.
