Summary:
|
The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing authorizes the issuance of a Variable Term Waiver for CBEST for 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permits to those individuals who have a Bachelor's Degree but not have taken and passed CBEST. The Governing Board of Mt. Diablo Unified School District declares that the district has been unable to recruit enough day-to-day substitute teachers who have had an opportunity to take and pass the California Basic Educational skills Test (CBEST). The district anticipates employing 150 day-to-day substitutes on variable term CBEST waivers for the 2019-2020 school year.
