Summary:
|
On August 2nd and 9th, the MDUSD advertised a bid request for field improvements at Mt. Diablo Elementary School pursuant to PCC § 20111.6. The scope included replacement of a backstop, fencing, irrigation, infield, paving and sod turf on a compressed timeline. The invitation to bid indicates the low bidder will be determined by the base bid amount only. The project has six (6) alternate components that were identified and priced in the bid. Alternates allow the District to pick and choose a combination best suited to the overall project within the budget. The alternates chosen to create the best value are numbers 2, 4, and 6. Four (4) bid packages were received on August 21st and Goodland Landscape Construction Inc. is the low responsible bidder.
