Summary: Agreement was reached between the bargaining teams to add another step to the salary schedule for Behavior Health Specialist I. Currently, the salary schedule stops at Step 3. All other classifications on this salary schedule advance to Step 5. At this time, we are requesting just one addition to Step 4 for this classification, effective July 1, 2017.

We currently have 6.0 FTE of Behavior Health Specialist I. Only 1.0 FTE is on Step 3 and would be moved to Step 4.
Funding: Unrestricted General Fund
Fiscal Impact $3,866 per FTE.
Recommendation: Add Step 4 to Behavior Health Specialist I salary schedule effective July 1, 2017.
