Summary:
|
Funding from this grant supports student instruction, provides supplementary funding for purchase of instructional materials and supplies, expanded support for scheduling and management of classes, field trips, staff development, and childcare for children of adult students.
Note: Request for ratification is due to a change in timing of the due date, additional, new deliverables due at the same time, and the timing of the dissemination of this information.

Fiscal Impact

No impact on the General Fund. This grant would bring approximately $320,000 to $600,000 in revenue (based on benchmark achievement data from 2017-2018 and availability of federal funds) to Mt. Diablo Adult Education’s English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Basic Education (ABE), Adult Secondary Education (ASE), and Adults with Disabilities (AWD) programs for enhancing programs and services provided adult students in these four program areas.
