Summary
:
Mt. Diablo Adult Education requests approval for the renewal of an annual contract with First 5 Contra Costa to receive funding in the amount of $109,262.00 for the contract period of July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019 in order to support the continuation of MDAE’s ESL Family Literacy First 5 Contra Costa School-Readiness Programs at Meadow Homes Elementary, Cambridge Elementary, and at the Loma Vista Adult Center.

Fiscal Impact
:
There is no impact to the General Fund and no Adult Education matching funds required. This grant will bring $109,262.00 to the three (3) Adult Education Family Literacy Centers.
