Summary:
|
At the March 25, 2019 MDUSD Board of Education Meeting, the Board of Education established a 2018 Measure J Citizens Oversight Committee to actively review and report on the uses of Measure J bond proceeds to ensure that they are appropriately expended as required per Education Code Section 15278 (Prop 39).
Applications for, and information regarding, participation on the 2018 Measure J Citizens Bond Oversight Committee are posted on the District website. To date, seven (7) applications were received including three (3) from members of the 2010 Measure C Committee. As the District receives new Measure J CBOC applications (satisfying the required criteria), they will be submitted to the MDUSD Board of Education for appointment.
The attached seven (7) applicants satisfy the required criteria per Prop 39, and therefore, staff is requesting that the seven (7) applicants be appointed to serve on the 2018 Measure J Citizens Bond Oversight Committee.
