Summary
:
On December 5, 2018, an Articulation Agreement by and between Mt. Diablo Adult Education (MDAE) and Los Medanos College (LMC) for articulation of the MDAE Medical Terminology for Health Care Professionals with the LMC Medical Terminology Class, was finally and fully executed by all required authorized representatives of each institution. Please refer to attachment.
The Articulation Agreement was executed prior to MDUSD Governing Board review and approval in order that articulation could begin in early 2019 as planned. The reasons for Agreement being executed prior to MDUSD Governing Board review and approval are:
- Time required for negotiations with final agreement reached end of October, delaying time available for preparation of final agreement for MDUSD Governing Board review and approval and for obtaining all required signatures from representatives at both institutions.
- After close of new negotiations and document preparation, limited MDUSD Governing Board meeting dates prior to program launch in early 2019.

There is no fiscal impact to the General Fund.
