Summary: Atlas Tree Service has an open purchase order (PO) for tree removal and landscaping services for $77,000 for the 2018/19 school year. This existing open purchase order has been depleted due to the inclement weather and high winds placing demands on emergency tree removal at various school sites. Per Public Contract Code Section 20113, an increase of $41,045 is requested, to cover the emergency tree removal and to meet the needs for the remainder of the 2018/19 fiscal year. The request of $41,045 will increase the PO for Atlas Tree Service from $77,000 to $118,045.

Recommendation: Approve the increase to the Purchase Order with Atlas Tree Service for tree removal and landscaping services.
