Summary:
|
On June 25, 2018, the Board approved the allocation of funds for the modernization of the Food Service Central Warehouse Facilities. The modernization of the facilities requires architectural and engineering services to adhere to Building Code and the California Code of Regulations. The scope of services will consist of six phases; Review of District Standards & Design requirements, Design & Construction Documents, Contra Costa Environmental Health permit, Bidding and Construction Administrative Support and Closeout, and Transportation Housing Building design & engineering.
Staff recommends that a "not to exceed" contract in the amount of $310,000.00 be awarded to PHd Architects, Inc. for engineering, comprehensive architectural design and administrative (DSA) services.
