Summary: The Hyster H50XT is new equipment to replace a failing forklift in the district Supply Warehouse. The existing forklift was purchased used and after years of service is experiencing repeated break downs at increasing costs.

Several equipment proposals were received. Pape Material Handling appears to be the most cost effective quote at $26,500 for the Hyster H50XT with 5,000 lb nominal capacity, Class V model with shipping and delivery included. The proposal includes a $1,000 trade in value for the existing Komatsu forklift to be credited back to the District at a later date.
