Summary
:
Mount Diablo High School's International Hospitality and Tourism Academy is seeking to adopt the following courses:
- Food Service and Hospitality
- International Cuisine (10th Grade)
- Culinary Arts (11th Grade)
- Culinary Arts and management (12th Grade)
- Hospitality and Tourism Management (12th Grade)
The courses were originally developed to support California Partnership Academies in providing courses that are A-G. Since these courses have program status and have already received the A-G designation by the UC System, the courses will be adopted as written. Adopting these courses helps achieve MDUSD's goal of all classes meeting A-G requirements so that all students have access to college and career readiness. The classes can only be used by California Partnership Academies.
