Summary: Staff seeks approve for a grant submission to Chevron to implement and expand Project Lead the Way (PLTW) in Mt. Diablo Unified School District Schools K-12. Participating schools include; Fair Oaks Elementary, Sun Terrace Elementary, Pleasant Hill Elementary and Westwood Elementary; Cambridge Elementary and Holbrook Elementary CARES After School Programs; Oak Grove Middle and Riverview Middle, and Ygnacio Valley High Schools. The total grant is for $75,000 and will pay for supplies, materials, curriculum, training and PLTW participation fees. This is a one year grant.
