Summary: Mt. Diablo Adult Education requests approval to submit an annual grant proposal to the Firedoll Foundation in the amount of $22,000.00 to continue providing support services to the adult students in the “On Track” program of the Adults with Disabilities (AWD) Program. This On Track Program serves adult students with acquired brain injury. The funder for the student support services would continue to pay for the hourly position of Student Support Services Specialist (for approximately 10 hours per week; 46 weeks per year). The funder would also pay for the renewal of 20 group licenses for Brain HQ which is a research based online program for improving memory, attention and brain speed. Additionally, the funder would pay for the purchase of 25 student workbooks, Daily Mind Benders to help students improve memory, cognition, and reading comprehension. Mt. Diablo Adult Education has received funding for this purpose from the Firedoll Foundation since 1986.
