Summary
:
Mt. Diablo Adult Education (MDAE) seeks to renew its Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Concord’s Monument Impact for 2019-2020. The purpose of the MOU is to provide English as a Second Language (ESL) programs and services for adults that build and strengthen employment pathways for low and moderate income workers in Concord’s Monument Community. These programs and services help adults overcome barriers to accessing economic opportunities and resources for employment, improving the potential for increased earnings and economic security of their families.
Funding
:
No funding to be received from Monument Impact. The Adult Ed WIOA Title II will support instructional costs for instruction provided by MDAE.
Fiscal Impact
:
There is no impact to the Adult Ed Unrestricted General Fund.
Recommendation
:
Approve the Memorandum of Understanding between Mt. Diablo Unified School District-Adult Education and Monument Impact for the 2019-2020 school year.
