:
Throughout the fiscal year, the district has a need to identify equipment and/or furniture that is no longer necessary or in a condition unnecessary or unsuitable for District use. Education codes ยงยง35160, 35160.2, and 17546 allow for disposal and/or donation of property no longer needed or that is determined not suitable for school use. Items to be considered for disposal will have no salable value. Items considered for surplus will be disposed of via sale, auction, or donation to charitable organizations.
