Summary:
|
On March 25, 2019, the Board awarded Bid 1800b Phase II/PO 191919 to Hung Construction Builder Inc., in the amount of $726,000.00 for the restroom renovations at Westwood Elementary School. Funding for this project was approved by the Board on May 18, 2015 as part of Group IV.
During construction, it was discovered that the following additional work was required:
1. Additional electrical outlet installation in the girl’s restroom that was necessary.
2. Additional asbestos removal; asbestos was discovered during demolition. Asbestos was not identified during pre-construction.
The final charge order will result in a contract value of $729,812.38, an increase of $3,812.38, which is an increase of 0.53% of the original contract of $726,000.00.
