Summary:
|
The WDBCCC One-Stop AJCC would like to enter into an MOU Phase II with MDAE for the purpose of addressing how to sustain the unified system described in the original MOU Phase I (attached) through resource sharing and building of infrastructure.
The original three-year MOU Phase I (July 1, 2016-June 30, 2019) approved by the MDUSD Governing board on May 23, 2016, established a cooperative working relationship between the WDB and its partners in the local AJCC system, defining respective roles and responsibilities in achieving Workforce Innovation and Opportunity act (WIOA) policy objectives and establishing the framework for provision of services to employers, employees, job seekers and others in need of workforce training and services.
Note: The initial three-year MOU Phase I was revised with an “Indemnification” clause and a “Local Partners Contacts” addendum (also attached), approved by the MDUSD Governing Board on October 25, 2016.

Adult Education “in-kind” funding at the level of $167,052.45 already budgeted in the Adult Education AEBG budget for 2017-2018.
