On November 13, 2017, the Board awarded Bid 1789/C963/C963-9 to Best Contracting Services Inc., in the amount of $5,068,856.00 for the Bel Air Elementary School, Diablo View Middle School, Oak Grove Middle School, Shore Acres Elementary School and Maintenance Base Roofing Project. The final contract value of $4,985,321 for the project was $83,535 less than the original contract value due to a net credit (deduct of $136,931 for insulation board and add of $53,396 for dry rot repair and rainwater diverters/gutters).
