Summary:
|
The District will require the services of construction management firm for use in support of construction, modernization and various facility projects. On February 25, 2019 the District issued a request for qualifications (RFQ 1832) for Construction Management Services to begin a search for a construction management firm. Proposals were due March 19, 2019 and six (6) proposals were submitted of which all were determined to meet the District requirements for the proposed work. The six (6) firms that submitted the qualified proposals included CBMG & JGM, California Construction Management, Cumming, Jtec HCM Inc., RGM & Associates, and Sixth Dimension. District staff completed the extensive reviews and considered relevant factors, including price, services, and experience. In conclusion, the panel determined that RGM & Associates was the most responsive and reasonable to the District’s future construction management needs.
Therefore, is it recommended that the firm RGM & Associates will serve as the District’s construction management contracted firm to provide construction management services on a project by project basis. Assignments to RGM for specific projects will be presented to the Board as service needs are established.
