Summary:
|
Staff requests approval to submit a grant to the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Facility Assistance Program to build twelve new 60” tennis courts at Mt. Diablo High School. USTA is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the recognized leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the United States. USTA offers schools and communities assistance with technical, financial, and business development resources, and are appointed project consultants from the USTA National Staff, who deliver personalized support and service to help take an individual's project from dream to reality. USTA Facility Grant includes up to 50 percent of total project cost up to $100,000.00 maximum for 12+ courts. MDUSD will use local funds for the match.
