Summary:
|
On August 8,2016 the Board awarded RFP #1754-Fresh Produce for the Food Service Department to Daylight Foods for the 2016-17 school year. Initially, their performance was acceptable. Soon after school began, serious performance deficiencies occurred. The deficiencies related to package sizes, delivery logistics, inferior product, quantities and quality of produce and fruit. It would be in the best interest of the District to rescind this award and re-award to the next responsible bidder meeting specifications.
