CTEC Training Program Titles 9-1-17.pdf
Summary
:
As part of the Mt. Diablo Unified School Disrict Adult Education Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) Council on Occupational Education (COE) accreditation annual review of courses, documentation of Mt. Diablo Unified School District Governing Board approval is required for each individual training program course title and corresponding training hours.
While the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Governing Board annually approves the list of all courses offered through Adult Education, the COE requires additional specificity for each comprehensive training program as outlined in the document attached.
Funding
:
Not Applicable
Fiscal Impact
:
There is no impact to the General Fund of Mt. Diablo Unified School District. Mt. Diablo Adult Education provides Federal Pell Grant funding through the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) for income-eligible adult students. USDE now requires COE accreditation by all Pell Grant-authorized educational institutions.
