The annual National Family Literacy and Adult Education Week has been identified by national literacy organizations for September 22-28, 2019. The purpose of the National Family Literacy and Adult Education Week is to raise public awareness of community family literacy and adult education programs and services, assist adult learners in need of literacy and adult education and services, leverage local resources, and support increased access to family literacy and adult education community programs and services. The attached resolution recognizes the support of and contributions by Mt. Diablo USD and Mt. Diablo Adult Education to the quality of adult education and literacy programs and services in our MDUSD community. |
