Summary:
Mt. Diablo Unified School District recognizes the health risks that exposure to glyphosate herbicide poses to our school community and environment and that the stakeholder groups have called for permanently eliminating the use of glyphosate on all District sites. The District’s Maintenance and Operations Department terminated use of glyphosate in August 2018. This resolution will serve to further support elimination of glyphosate and glyphosate related products at all MDUSD sites.
