Summary:
The District will require the services of architectural firms for use in support of construction, modernization and various facility projects. On February 19, 2019 the District issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ 1815) for Architectural Services to establish a pool of architect firms. Proposals were due March 12, 2019, and seventeen (17) proposals were submitted of which five were determined to meet the District requirements for the proposed work. The five firms that submitted the qualified proposals included ATi, LPA, PBK, PhD and tBP Architects. The District staff that completed the extensive reviews, and interviews included both operational and school site staff. The panel considered relevant factors, price, in-house services, and experience. In conclusion, the panel determined that three (3) firms, ATi, LPA, and PBK were the most responsive and reasonable to the District’s future architectural needs.

Therefore, it is recommended that three (3) firms: ATi, LPA and PBK serve as part of the District’s architectural pool to provide architectural services on a project by project basis. Assignments to each firm for specific projects will be presented to the Board as service needs are established.
