Summary:
Staff is requesting approval of an additional Worksite Agreement for Summer Interns for Mt. Diablo Unified School District. These internships are in partnership through the Youth Employment Services (YES) Program and Career Pathways programs. YES is a program designed to give vulnerable youth access to work-based learning opportunities and academic and social emotional supports to obtain their high school diploma. Summer internships will take place between June-August 2019.  
Funding:
Program Codes: 3977- Workforce Investment and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant and 0930 Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF)  
Fiscal Impact:
Paid internships range from $1,500-1700.
