Summary:
Concord High School is requesting permission to place an order in the amount of $23,450.90 with B & H Photo Video. This order places us over the District's $25,000 per vendor limit.

The cameras replace the older cameras that are presently being used. The lighting kit and the digital photo equipment and drone technology will provide students with an opportunity to work with industry standard equipment that goes beyond “point-and-shoot” technology. The package of equipment will allow students to focus on learning the technical skills for portrait photography, product photography, aerial photography, and artistic expression. Students will get to explore camera types as well as different lenses. Each lens has a job that it does well.

These pieces of equipment will help support the articulation agreement made with Diablo Valley College and will give students the professional tools so they may apply artistic skills and processes to solve a variety of industry relevant problems in a variety of traditional and electronic media.
