Summary:
Staff requests permission to submit an application for the California Energy Commission (CEC) School Bus Replacement Program Grant to replace diesel powered school buses with energy clean burning engines such as electric, CNG, or propane.  
Funding:
554-0929 Transportation Equipment Replacement - Buses  
Fiscal Impact:
The replacement cost for some vehicles may exceed the grant amount.
