Summary:
Staff and MDEA have created the Equity School Counselor job description. This job description is being brought forward to provide targeted support to schools in the highest need areas to improve school culture, behavior, parent and community engagement and build staff knowledge and capacity. District staff and MDEA will monitor and assess implementation during the 2018-19 school year and will reconvene in June 2019 to assess and modify the job description as needed.
