Summary:
|
In January 2024, the District entered into a contract with Sixth Dimension, LLC (6D PMCM) to provide project and construction management (PM/CM) services in support of the Elementary School Site Modernization Program at Meadow Homes, Mt. Diablo, and Rio Vista Elementary Schools. The scope includes oversight of construction activities, budget management, schedule coordination, and quality control. In November 2024, the Board approved Amendment #1, a zero-cost modification that expanded the scope of services to include additional Measure J and other funded facility projects. These included the Technology Infrastructure Upgrades (Track 1 and Track 2 sites), Middle School Kitchen Modernizations, and the Pleasant Hill Middle School Pool Project. The District utilizes professional PM/CM services on an as-needed basis, allowing flexibility to scale staffing based on project demands. 6D PMCM increased staffing during the spring and for summer to meet higher construction activity and will scale down services as projects are completed. Amendment #2 proposes to increase the contract amount to support continued services through December 2026. This amendment includes a sliding scale of assumed staffing levels, providing full-time services to some degree will be needed. The District will continue to be billed only for actual hours worked. The contract remains a “Not to Exceed” agreement.
