Summary:
|
Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 1958 for 2025 Swimming Pool Maintenance Services was issued and publicly posted on May 7, 2025. The intent of the RFP was to solicit qualified vendors to provide comprehensive swimming pool maintenance services for district facilities, including, but not limited to, providing all necessary testing equipment and tools required for the maintenance and servicing of the four district swimming pools. The contractor must also supply all manufacturers’ manuals, including but not limited to, maintenance manuals for all components specific to each pool’s circulation and sanitizing systems.
On the proposal due date, May 29, 2025, one proposal was received from East Bay Pool Services. The proposal was reviewed and found to be responsive to the requirements outlined in the RFP. Staff recommends East Bay Pool Services, Inc. for consideration of the award of RFP 1958 for the 2025 Swimming Pool Maintenance Services. The non-exclusive agreement is for 7/1/25-6/30/28, with two (2) one (1) year extensions for a maximum of five (5) years, until 6/30/30.
