Summary: The following courses were presented to the Board on August 28th: Principles of Biomedical Science (PBS), Human Body Systems (HBS), Medical Interventions (MI), Coding & Gaming, Website Design, and Digital Design & Innovation. PBS, HBS & MI are PLTW courses and the curriculum is provided by PLTW. Coding & Gaming, Website Design, and Digital Design & Innovation were previously piloted as Interactive Design I, II, III. The final version of these courses are adapted from courses that have program status as California Partnership Courses on the UC Portal and will provide a-g status for these courses. They are aligned with the outline of the curriculum that was piloted. Please see descriptions attached for each course.
