KBA 12month Extension.pdf
Summary: The Board awarded Request for Proposal (RFP) #1755 for district-wide copier lease services to KBA Document Solutions on November 14, 2016. That agreement is set to expire on December 31, 2021. Due to the instability of the market, and the availability of new copy machines, district staff recommends that we extend our agreement with KBA for one year to allow the market to stabilize and allow us to accept better bids.
The cost of the additional year of lease and maintenance for the 75 District provided copiers is $275,880, plus any applicable taxes. This proposed extension will expire on December 31, 2022.
Funding: Technology Budget, Program 50290000
Fiscal Impact $275,880 plus any applicable taxes
Recommendation: Move to Approve the contract extension of 12 months, to expire on December 31, 2022, with KBA Document Solutions for district-wide copier leases.
