Summary:
|
MDUSD has used ParentSquare Aeries Communications) since 2021 as a primary tool for communication with families. Staff recommends renewal of ParentSquare with the addition of Secure Document Delivery (SDD). SDD will allow important secure and confidential documents, such as report cards and progress reports, to be securely shared electronically with authorized recipients (parents and guardians). It is anticipated this added functionality will reduce costs for printing and mailing these documents by significantly more than the cost. By entering this agreement now for a term beginning on October 1, 2025 and ending September 30, 2026, Aeries/ParentSquare will provide MDUSD with complimentary access to the added functionality up until that time.
