Summary:
|
At the March 8, 2023 Board Meeting, the attached agreement between International Teach Alliance Program and Mt. Diablo Unified School District was approved for a three year term. Staff noticed that the duration in the original docket item may not have been clear so we are bringing this back to the Board to ensure it is understood that the previous agreement was a three year contract. No additional staff is being added for the upcoming year to this contract and, the number of staff has been slightly reduced from the 2023-2024 school year.
Staff recomends continuing with this agreement that provides students with exchange teachers from other countires while simultaneously assisting MDUSD with the ongoing need to address teacher vacancies.
