Summary:
|
MDUSD Career Pathways requests approval to of the purchase of a Wheel Aligner Assembly with Accessories to support the transportation pathway at Mt. Diablo High School. This product will help students learn to complete a centrifugal balance of a tire/rim and also learn to do a balance based on the tread surface of the tire. Through doing this work, students will learn the benefits of both styles and their effects on ride harshness, vehicle control at higher speeds, and the impact on braking and steering. This is industry standard equipment. Upon review of 3 proposals, staff is recommending Edwards & Sons Equipment Service, Inc for the Hunter Road Force Elite Balancer with Accessories for the Transportation pathway at MDHS.
