Summary
:
This Aruba switching equipment will enable aggregation of network traffic from our internet service providers, in support of network infrastructure improvements for all schools.
A request for quotes was sent to eight vendors, with MDUSD receiving four formal quotes. The lowest quote was received from CDW-G, who provided the attached pricing. Pricing is based on the Western States Contracting Alliance (WSCA ,AR1464 7-14-70-06) contract as the vendor’s piggy-back contract.
Staff recommend approval of the contract to CDW-G for the Aruba network infrastructure improvement project.
Funding
:
$62,255.38 plus tax through Program 6210, Measure A Funds.
Fiscal Impact
:
$62,255.38 plus tax
