Summary: Per public contract code requirements, the district is currently advertising a Request for Proposal for Pool Maintenance Services with an anticipated contract to begin 7/1/2025. This will be a initial (3) year contract with (2) one year contract extensions allowed for a total of (5) years of Pool Maintenance Service. East Bay Pools has provided the District's Pool Maintenance Service for multiple years. The current PO has been depleted and needs to be increased to allow for required pool maintenance service for the remainder of the 24/25 fiscal year ensuring the continuity and compliance with health and financial obligations.
Funding: RRMA
Fiscal Impact Change Order: Increase of $38,049.00 to a new total to $152,196.00.
Recommendation: Move to approve the increase to purchase order for East Bay Pools as presented.
