Summary:
|
In 2016, the District executed a 2 year lease addendum for the four 960 square foot (24x40) standard DSA-approved temporary housing units at Meadow Homes Elementary School. Two of the 960 square foot housing units have been removed (November, 2018) and two 960 square foot housing units remain for use by the CARES Program.
At this time, Meadow Homes Elementary- CARES Program desires to extend the lease agreement thru September 14, 2021 (additional 3 years total). Per current DSA guidelines, the District must request authorization for the buildings to remain on site additional years. Currently, these agreements continue to be processed through a valid, existing "piggyback" contract between the Franklin-McKinley School District and McGrath Rent Corporation dba Mobile Modular Management Corporation on a month-to-month basis.
Staff has negotiated a Three-Year Contract Addendum, dated November 5, 2018, to continue leasing the two units, Buildings ID # 30986 and #39823 located at Meadow Homes Elementary School.
