Summary:
|
Expanded learning opportunities such as before and after school programs and summer learning, when implemented with fidelity, directly support academic success and equip students with the skills necessary to be effective learners and leaders. Research shows that participation in expanded learning opportunities can result in better academic performance in school, lower dropout rates, improved homework completion, improved work habits, and less disciplinary action.
Resolution No. 15/16-44 supports and encourages expanded learning opportunities for students throughout the District.
