Summary
:
Mt. Diablo Unified School District's request for approval to purchase four Ford Transit passenger vans from Model 1 Commercial Vehicles. This purchase will be made through a Piggyback Agreement established between South County Support Services and Creative Bus Sales (Model 1 Commercial Vehicles) with Bid #2122-SC11-01. The proposed purchase includes three ten-passenger Ford Transit vans and one electric Ford Transit passenger van equipped with a wheelchair lift. These vehicles will be used to support the transportation needs of students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in Special Education who receive contracted transportation services. The addition of these vans will reduce the reliance on contracted transportation services and provide greater flexibility in meeting student needs.
