Summary: Mt. Diablo Unified District desires to become a member of The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), a national cooperative, until such time the District, or the Board decide to terminate the Membership with TIPS. TIPS allows their members to leverage contracts established through the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, thus alleviating members’ administrative costs and overhead. Each TIPS contract leveraged by the District must be Board approved and executed prior to any obligation to the District.
