Summary: Food and Nutrition Services is seeking approval to increase the Purchase Order for Tyson Prepared Foods Inc. by $50,000 to a total of $375,000 for the remainder of the 2024-25 school year. This contract was competitively bid under RFP #1936; the original contract award was approved by the Board on December 13, 2023. We are requesting an increase to the Purchase Order because of increased meal participation. We expect the overall fiscal impact to be minimal as we are on track to keep our food and food supply costs under 30% of revenue for the year.
